റിഗ: ലാത്വിയയില്‍ മലയാളി വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിയെ തടാകത്തില്‍ കാണാതായി. ഇടുക്കി ആനച്ചാല്‍ അറക്കല്‍ ഷിന്റോ~ റീന ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകന്‍ ആല്‍ബിന്‍ ഷിന്റോ എന്ന 19 കാരനെയൊണ് സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ക്ളിജാനു ഇയേല തടാകത്തില്‍ കുളിക്കാനിറങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ ഒഴുക്കില്‍പ്പെട്ട് കാണാതായത്.വ്യാഴാഴ്ച പ്രദേശിക സമയം വൈകുന്നേരമാണ് സംഭവം.

സംഭവം നടന്നയുടനെ ആല്‍ബിനുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള തെരച്ചില്‍ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും പൊലീസ് അധികാരികളും ആരംഭിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല. തെരച്ചില്‍ തല്‍ക്കാലം നിര്‍ത്തിവെച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുകയാണന്നാണ് അവിടെനിന്നുള്ള വിവരം. തെരച്ചില്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിയതിന്റെ കാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ല.

തലസ്ഥാന നഗരമായ റിഗയിലെ ഡുന്റീസ്ല നോവികോന്റാസ് മാരിടൈം കോളേജില്‍ മറൈന്‍ ടെക്നോളജി പഠിയ്ക്കാന്‍ ആറുമാസം മുമ്പാണ് ഷിന്റോ ലാത്വിയയില്‍ എത്തിയത്.

ആല്‍ബിന്റെ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ഇടുക്കി എംപി ഡീന്‍ കുര്യാക്കോസ് ഇടപെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേന്ദ്ര വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി എസ് ജയ്ശങ്കറിന്റെയും, ലാത്വിയ /സ്വീഡന്‍ ഇന്‍ഡ്യന്‍ അംബാസഡറുടെയും ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംഭവമുണ്ടായപ്പോള്‍ കൂടയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുമായും ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ആല്‍ബിന്റെ അമ്മ വെള്ളത്തൂവല്‍ അടുത്ത് എല്ലക്കല്‍ എല്‍ പി സ്കൂള്‍ ടീച്ചറാണ്. ആല്‍ബിന് ഒരു സഹോദരിയുണ്ട്.
